Business partners coaching is focused on the match between the to-be business partners and consistency vis-à-vis their company project. This coaching allows the “partners” to work on their relationship, to decide of the appropriateness of the partnership, and to identify key working principles to make their partnership a success.
Objectives
To make a company successful, excellent ideas, excellent projects are key but not sufficient; people need to work and secure the human dimension of the partnership.
The objective of this coaching service is to implement the basis for a fruitful and sustainable partnership: it allows future business partners to know each other better, know what’s important for them in their partnership, discover their common points, their complementary areas as well as their conflict areas, and to define the space and role they want to take in this partnership.
One outcome of this coaching is to define the key principles of the partnership in terms of operations and communication.
For whom
- Future business partners, whose project is to create a company, a non-profit organization, a club, an association or any other sort of organization.
- One or more new partners joining an already existing organization.
It is important for all future partners to be involved in the coaching.
The coach’s role
The coach concentrates on 3 points:
- Ensures the partners move on the issues at stake;
- Allows expression of each partner, and ensures mutual understanding;
- Acts as a mirror: thanks to his/her questions and expertise on individual and team coaching, the coach helps participants to step back, sheds light on potential blockages, challenges and help participants progress. The coach can also give some piece of advice thanks to his coaching experience for entrepreneurs and CEOs.
